Our ambassadors champion the work we do by helping us raise awareness of sleep in the media and on social media and supporting our campaigns.

Shaun the Sheep

Our official sheepy sleep ambassador for our ‘Sheep Dreams’ campaign to encourage an understanding of the importance of a good night’s sleep to families. Shaun is known for his fun adventures, but sleep has always been a prevalent theme in the series.

Zoe Salmon

Award winning TV presenter, Zoe Salmon, has a keen interest in wellbeing and recognises the key role that sleep plays. After speaking at our The Wake Up Call manifesto launch, Zoe agreed to be one of our sleep ambassadors championing the benefits of a good night’s sleep

Vicky Thornley

Vicky Thornley made history by winning a silver medal in the double sculls at the 2016 Rio Olympics with Dame Katherine Grainger. Away from rowing she is passionate about health and wellbeing, having qualified as a Health Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and is an admirer of the charity’s work.

Baroness Goudie

A supporter of the charity for several years, Baroness Goudie is a member of the British House of Lords and a global advocate for the rights of women and children. An avid social media contributor, writing for the Huffington Post as well as her own personal blog, she brings attention to key issues across the world.

Mark Thompson

Science Broadcaster and Author Mark Thompson – who is known for being one of the presenting team of BBC Stargazing Live – lectured for 140 hours in Sept 2021 on just 3 hours sleep. After his extreme sleep deprivation experience he agreed to be one of our sleep ambassadors to spread the word about the importance of a good night sleep.
