Expert sleep advice, support and helpful resources now come at the touch of a button courtesy of The Sleep Charity as it launches its brand-new website.
The Sleep Charity’s website – Home – The Sleep Charity – has been re-engineered and re-designed to reflect the charity’s new mission to empower the nation to sleep better, following its merger with not-for-profit organisation, The Sleep Council.
The new mobile responsive, user-friendly website is a hive of information – providing independent advice across all age groups, supporting those looking to improve wellbeing in the workplace and offering training workshops for professionals. Information and resources from The Sleep Council website have also transferred across to the charity website.
“The website has been designed to satisfy the obvious need for information around sleep,” said Vicki Dawson, CEO and founder of The Sleep Charity. “There is very little support out there for those who struggle with sleep issues so researching advice online has become a huge part in learning to look after sleep as part of physical and mental wellbeing. There is also a lot of advice out there around sleep that is conflicting and confusing.
“We’ve invested in the site and are supported by our expert advisory board to ensure that people can access high quality, credible, professional advice and information – whether that’s some simple top tips, assessing bedroom environments or wanting to know more about the impact of shift work on sleep.
“We want to empower with knowledge around sleep so that they can make positive changes. Our aim is to be the first reference point for all those who are in need of a helping hand when it comes to looking after their sleep.”
