About us

At The Sleep Charity, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to get the sleep they need to live healthier, happier lives.

Sleep is essential to our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, but when sleep becomes difficult, finding the right advice and support isn’t always easy. That’s where we come in.

We’re passionate about making trusted, evidence-based sleep information and support accessible to everyone. From practical advice and specialist support to training, research and national campaigns, everything we do is focused on helping people understand their sleep and take positive steps towards sleeping better.

Since 2012, we’ve been working with individuals, families, professionals, workplaces and communities to improve sleep and raise awareness of just how important it is to our health and wellbeing.

But there’s still more to do. We want to create a future where sleep is taken seriously, people feel confident talking about sleep difficulties and everyone can access the support they need.

Because better sleep can make a real difference to how we feel, function and live.
