Welcome to The Sleep Charity!

Sleep deprivation can have a serious impact on emotional, physical and emotional health. We offer a range of support and services from working directly with families who are approaching crisis point to delivering training to professionals and corporate clients.

Our work is based on the latest research and we have a team of experts who input into our training materials and courses. We believe in working in partnership with families and offer a gentle approach to making lasting changes to your child’s sleep patterns. We also believe sleep should sit at the heart of wellbeing strategies and work with employers to ensure their staff’s sleep needs are well supported.

Parents, Carers & Families

We help families on a one to one basis, supporting them and their children to get better sleep. We do this by looking at aspects such as bedtime routines, helping to recognise sleep issues, the causes of those issues and build in strategies to help aid better sleep. Get in touch to find out more.

Professionals & Corporates

We offer training programmes to professionals including health visitors, doctors, nurses, family support workers, social workers and teachers. We also offer support to corporate clients. Get in touch to find out how we can help you to help others develop good sleep practices.

We are proud winners of...

In June 2020, The Sleep Charity was awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

This award is the MBE for volunteer groups and it is an honour to hold this accolade.

Help for Families

We understand how difficult life can be when your child has a sleep issue. Our aim is to support families to get a better night’s sleep by offering workshops, clinics and written materials. We use a behavioural approach to sleep and work in partnership with families, we know that you are the expert on your child.

We will bring you the latest news about what is happening around the country and how you can access support.

Our sleep workshops aim to support you to make positive changes to your child’s sleep patterns. They are delivered by trained professionals many of who have been sleep deprived parents in the past!

Workshops can provide you with the opportunity to meet other families in similar situations and to gain tips on how to support a better night’s sleep for you and your child.

We have three Sleep Success workshops including Sleep Success, Sleep Success for families of children with Autism and Sleep Success for families of children with ADHD. For more information or to book your place on any of these courses, please do get in touch.

Help us out

Without the generous donations from our supporters, we couldn’t continue to offer help and support to families, so thank you.
