TSC London Marathon 2027

Date: Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th April 2027
Location: Greenwich Park, London
Distance: Marathon

You can now apply for one of our charity places for the TSC London Marathon 2027.

You will need to complete a short application form. Places are limited and will be allocated based on your application. We’ll also keep a waiting list in case any places become available before the registration deadline.

We recommend entering the official ballot too, as this gives you another chance to take part. If you’re lucky enough to secure your own ballot place, we’d still love to welcome you to Team Sleep Charity – with no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can!

If you’re offered a place through The Sleep Charity, we ask you to pledge to raise a minimum of £2,000. Every pound you raise will help us continue providing vital advice and support to people and families across the UK who are struggling with sleep.

By being part of our team you will receive;

A warm welcome

and introduction to the rest of the team with our Facebook/WhatsApp group

Ongoing updates

to make sure you have all the information you need

Lots of support

and fundraising tips, ideas and resources to help you hit – and smash – your fundraising target

A special running top/vest

with Sleep Charity branding and your name

On the day support

cheering your name at our cheer point

A post-race reception

to give you a huge congratulations in person

If you’ve got any questions about your application, or need anything in a different format for accessibility, please get in touch with Sally on info@thesleepcharity.org.uk

We look forward to receiving your application!

  2. Successful applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of £99.00 to secure your place (details will be provided when the places are allocated).
  3. You are encouraged to also enter the official Ballot, and let us know as soon as possible if you are successful in receiving a Ballot place.
  4. You must be at least 18 years of age on the date of your application.
  5. You will be sent information to formally register with London Marathon on their Registration Console using a The Sleep Charity place. You commit to completing this information in a timely manner and by any deadlines set by the charity/London Marathon or risk forfeiting your place.
  6. You must inform The Sleep Charity, as soon as possible, of any reason you are unable to take part in the TCS London Marathon.
  7. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, if you are successful in receiving a place, you are committing to raising a minimum of £2,000 (not including Gift Aid or Match-funding)

To show your commitment, we recommend that you register with our recommended online fundraising platform as soon as we send you the information to do so.

  8. We will use your contact information to stay in touch about your application and notify you if you’re successful in securing a place. We may need to get in touch to ask for some more information before we can make a decision. If you are given one of our Charity places, we will use your information to stay in touch about the event, provide fundraising information, and important ‘need to knows’. This is separate to our marketing opt-in process and a condition of entry to the event.
  1. The Sleep Charity reserves the right to remove your name from the Marathon Registration Console if you do not adhere to our Terms and Conditions, do not respond to communications, or do not start your fundraising in a timely manner. We will communicate with you before we revoke your place.
  2. You are responsible for reading and agreeing to information provided by London Marathon, particularly their terms and conditions around collection of your running number, event safety and liability.
